12 Sep Gracious Eloise – Bringing the dying art of handwriting Back to the Future (US)
Gracious Eloise: Eloise Bune (United States)
Who ever said that handwriting is dead simply hasn’t come across Gracious Eloise! Gracious Eloise is a New York based company breathing new life into the lost art of handwriting by bringing this age old form of correspondence into the New Digital Era. In short, they are pioneers in digital handwritten technology.
The company aims to put the personal touch back into digital correspondence. “Making handwriting as easy as email”.
The brainchild and genius behind Gracious Eloise is none other than Eloise Bune herself – an alumni from Cambridge University – who came up with her business idea while performing the tedious task of writing up all her wedding thank-you cards by hand. However, before we proceed to tell you all about Eloise and her business, we thought we’d do things a little bit differently this week on Globally Spotted and have you hear directly instead from Eloise herself about her enterprise and entrepreneurial journey in this short inspirational video produced by Dell.
We’ve so far been hesitant to use the word ‘genius’ to describe any of the enterprises or founders featured in our Globally Spotted series but felt that this model and its founder were well worth this distinction.
Globally Spotted: An article series featuring business ideas that made our hearts jump with excitement. Truly inspiring enterprises invented and founded by mums and female entrepreneurs from all over the world.
